K2tog in Ely
Knittedrabbit and I were discussing at the k2tog in Cambridge yesterday, the severe lack of knitting groups in Ely. I’m sure we’re not the only ones who find it difficult to get to Cambridge for the Tuesday evening k2togs, but would love to meet up a couple of times a month for drinks, chat and all things yarny! With this in mind, we’ve arranged to meet at 7pm on Thursday 28th February in the bar at The Lamb Hotel in Ely. Please come along and join us, bring a friend, bring your knitting, and let’s take Ely by storm!

Great idea! And the Lamb is a good place for it - EJ and I have knitted/crocheted there many times. Can't make 7pm in "term", but if it takes off, I can make it to meetings in the recess!
Look forward to seeing you there whenever you can make it. I'm sure Emily and I will persevere and there is a bit of interest already, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.
well you know I am very keen to join in but I am in Ireland on that date...keep us posted of any future Ely dates and I will hopefully be able to make one of them!
